The museum is instantly recognisable by its whitewashed stone front elevation and an observant eye will see an original plaque dated 1696 with the words 'The fear of God be in you'. When you pay us a visit you will discover that there is much more to see behind those walls than can be imagined from outside. Many people spend an hour or so wandering through the eight rooms and the rear garden area and return visits are very common.
