The Needle's Eye stands in Lee Wood and consists of a pyramidal tower surmounted by a stone urn, pierced by a carriageway flanked by stone seats.
Legend says that it was built in response to a wager by the Marquis of Rockingham to drive a horse and carriage through the eye of a needle.
