Sarehole Mill was built in 1765 on the site of Biddle's Mill, which dated back to 1540. For most of Sarehole's working life it was used to grind corn, but in the industrial revolution it was used for blade grinding and metal rolling as well. The Mill is open to the public from April to October and to school parties throughout the year.
