Take a journey into the past on an historic steam train from Bo'ness station along the shores of the Forth. The train brings you to Birkhill in the West Lothian countryside, where you can choose an underground guided tour of Birkhill Fireclay Mine or explore the woodlands around the Avon Gorge. Back at Bo'ness, you can see the many locomotives, carriages and wagons on show in the Scottish Railway Exhibition, and visit our restaurant and shop.
