About Bowlees Visitor Centre

Bowlees, run by the Durham Wildlife Trust, is a fantastic base for exploring Upper Teesdale, with footpath links to Low Force, High Force, Newbiggin and the Pennine Way.
The centre provides information and displays on the landscape, wildlife and people of Upper Teesdale, and the work of the Durham Wildlife Trust and the AONB Partnership.
