About Brighton Toy and Model Museum

Over 10,000 exhibits, collections from the last 100 years, examples from the world's top toy makers, models and souvenirs to buy.
The Museum features a priceless toy and model train collection with an extensive '0' gauge working layout. Numerous rare model trains are on display as well as a working '00' model of the Sussex countryside. Meccano and other construction toys are on display, as well as puppets and toy theatres. You can even try your hand at old-fashioned penny arcade games or enjoy early photographic animation by looking through a working mutoscope! You will also see tin plate toys, cars and buses, exotic toy and model ships, large-scale, radio-controlled aeroplanes and an extensive range of diecast toys. The Tri-Ang Spot On collection on display at the Museum is one of the largest in the world. There are a number of beautiful dolls and rare dolls' house furniture on display as well as a series of evocative military dioramas.
