Browsholme Hall, pronounced 'Brewsom', is an historic house and the ancestral home of the Parker Family, Bowbearers of the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire, who have lived there since it was built in 1507. The present day owners Robert and Amanda Parker invite guests into the family home for small conferences, corporate hospitality, musical events, craft fairs and open days throughout the year.
The Parker family can trace its origins to the 13th century, when they gained the title of 'park-keeper' to John of Gaunt in the unspoilt Hodder Valley. The descendents of those Parkers are scattered throughout England and also wordwide to America and Australia.
