Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre has recently been refurbished and provides information on attractions, events and facilities, not only in the Bay but across the city and local region.
Overlooking Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre is ideally situated to meet and greet visitors to the Bay, providing a wealth of information, maps and leaflets to suit everyone's needs. CBVC is set to become the first port of call in the Bay for everyone who is looking for something to do, somewhere to eat and even a place to stay.
As the newest TIC in the Visit Wales Network, the team will be on hand to make bed bookings across Wales, with a range of accommodation providers, including B&Bs and hotels. They will also offer up-to-date tourist information and even sell tickets for a wide range of attractions including white water rafting at Cardiff International White Water and visits to Flat Holm Island.
In the Cinema and Exhibition room, a new DVD on the Bay showcases the development of the area from its early origins to present day events and water activities with Glamorgan Archive imagery and S4C heritage footage. This short DVD will be available everyday to view free of charge in both English and Welsh.
A range of souvenirs and gifts will also be on sale, including Welsh books, biscuits, chocolates and of course the exclusive Cardiff Bay range of mugs and memorabilia.
