The East Anglian Railway Museum, based just outside Colchester, Essex, is a Working Museum dedicated to preserving the history of railways in the Eastern Counties.
Open every day between 10am and 4:30pm (or Dusk if earlier), on certain days special events take place, where you can have unlimited rides on the Museum's preserved Steam and Diesel Trains, we also hold regular Day Out With Thomas Events, also the popular Chappel Beer and Cider Festivals.
