Elvaston Castle Country Park has over 200 acres of woodland, parkland and fascinating formal gardens to explore.
At the heart of the park is the castle building, which despite its name, is really a country house. Today, due to its need for restoration, the castle is only occassionally open to the public (please call the park for details of our castle tours).
Elvaston is a great place to visit for a walk, bird watching, a bite to eat in the castle tea rooms or a picnic with friends or family.
