About Formby Beach

Large area of beach, sand dunes and pine woods. This wonderful stretch of unspoilt coastline set between the sea and Formby town offers miles of walks through the woods and dunes. There are interesting plants and birds to be found, and this is one of the last places in England where visitors may catch a glimpse of the rare red squirrel.
