About Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary

VISIT AWARD-WINNING PARADISE PARK!
Set around sheltered Victorian gardens, Paradise Park is home to tropical birds plus otters, red pandas, red squirrels and fun farm. It's perfect for animal-lovers, garden-lovers and if your family includes energetic young children, then the Park in Hayle is for you.
The award-winning sanctuary is well known for its exotic birds, especially parrots, and is home to the World Parrot Trust charity which funds conservation projects around the world.
See flamingos on the lawn, cockatoos and kookaburras in the walk-through 'Australian Aviaries', and colourful drift-planting in the 'Gazebo Garden'. As well as many parrots there are also Cornish Choughs, pheasants, cranes, owls, toucans and touracos.
In the summer season there are free-flying displays but even in the winter you can see the otter and penguin feeding times, and join in a penguin photocall if the weather is good enough.
The 'JungleBarn' indoor play centre is a big added attraction, with giant slides, soft play and a special toddlers ' area ' perfect for wet days, and adults are welcome to join in the fun! It also has its own snack bar and daily papers to read.
Paradise Park is open every day except Christmas Day from 10am to 6pm.
