About Prior Park Landscape Garden

Beautiful and intimate 18th-century landscape garden. Created by local entrepreneur and philanthropist Ralph Allen, with advice from both the pioneer of landscape gardens the poet Alexander Pope and 'Capability' Brown, the garden is set in a sweeping valley with magnificent views of the city of Bath. The many interesting features include a Palladian bridge and three lakes.
