About Senhouse Roman Museum

Set in the stunning location on the cliffs looking over the Solway Firth, positioned next to a Roman fort dated around the first Century AD, then rebuilt whilst Hadrian was in power. The museum houses one of the largest groups of inscriptions and Roman military altar stones in Britain.
