An expanding museum with nature trails.
The woodland walk in Amenity Wood allows visitors to experience and understand the changing woodland scene. In and around ancient barns are examples of farm machinery such ploughs, harrows and carts.
Inside are areas displaying agricultural tools, stable equipment, the dairy, forge and countryside sports. The domestic side is in room settings from Victorian times to more recently.
Very suitable for grandparents to show their grandchildren. There are also exhibits of the Wealden iron industry and local brickmaking. Also Lakeside cafe, craft workshops, fishing, riding and camping/caravan site.
