The Allen Gallery has a variety of outstanding ceramics collections - Nearly 2,000 examples of English, continental and oriental pottery, porcelain and tiles from 1250 to the present day. See the Sir Jacob Epstein sculpture Dolores. The gallery hosts new exhibitions every few weeks. A wide variety of topics are featured including National and regional touring exhibitions of art, crafts, photography, local history and natural history, as well as the work of local artists, societies and collectors.
