From the door of The Moors National Park Centre you can see much of what makes this area so special ' moorland, woodland, farmland and historic buildings. Find out more about what there is to see and do in the North York Moors, its wildlife and heritage in our interactive exhibition area.
At the Centre you can stretch your legs on a woodland or riverside trail or go for a longer walk into the heart of the North York Moors for some stunning views. You can watch the kids get to grips with our outdoor adventure play area or enjoy a relaxing cup of tea and homebaked goodies in our tea room. There's also an indoor children's climbing wall and play area, gift shop and gallery of local arts and crafts. Best of all, entry is FREE!
