About The Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology

Located on the University of Reading campus, the Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology has the fourth largest collection of Greek ceramics in Britain. Within the museum’s 2000 objects, we also house an exciting collection of Egyptian antiquities, including a funeral boat and a mummified cat's head.
As well as our exciting family events running during school holidays we also run regular school sessions and a varied public events programme. Please see our website for more details on events and how to visit the Ure Museum.
