The exhibition at the Vestry Hall concentrates on two of the Wandle's better known industries, namely the snuff/tobacco and textile industries. Particular homage is paid to the area's best known figures, William Morris and Arthur Liberty. We will be developing new permanent displays which will reflect the other varied industries that have flourished in the Wandle Valley.
