The Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum is a wonderful free museum run by volunteers in Warwick town centre. Historic items on display include photographs, medals, weapons, uniforms and more.
Browse the archive room to read diaries and photographs of Officers and Men, to get a fascinating insight into the life of being part of the Yeomanry and at war. The Q.O.W.W.Y 'Guidon' is also on display. The Museum in Warwick covers the entire 162 year history of the Warwickshire Yeomanry from 1794 to November 1956, after which it was amalgamated with the Queen's Own Worcestershire Hussars to become the Queen's Own Warwickshire and Worcestershire Yeomanry.
