Welcome to Nene Valley Railway.
Based close to the A1 near Peterborough and within easy reach of the midlands, Nene Valley Railway is a heritage railway that offers a family day out.
We run a regular steam train service but Railway enthusiasts with a penchant for Diesel are not forgotten either.
The preserved railway passes through the georgeous Nene valley using part of the original London and North Western line from Northamptonshire into Cambridgeshire.
Enjoy river views at Yarwell, The cafe, museum and giftshop at our main Station Wansford, or the Nene Park via our Ferry Meadows and Orton Mere halts. Our Peterboprough stop puts you within walking disatance of the shops and the magnificent Cathederal.
