Did you know there are over 200,000 objects in Peterborough Museum's collection? They range from the most amazing Napoleonic bone palace to the largest fossil fish. The collection covers a great range of objects of national and international importance, such as the Norman Cross prisoner of war craft work, Jurassic marine reptiles, finds from Roman Peterborough and the original manuscripts of the famous poet John Clare. You can also find out about the everyday life of Peterborough's people, past and present through the Social History collection. The Museum also has a programme of fascinating temporary exhibitions, as well as exciting events for all the family at weekends and during school holidays.
Guided Walks around Peterborough city centre provide a fascinating, fun and informative series of tours around different aspects of the city's past, from historic tours during the daytime and to Ghost, Crime and Historic Pub walks during the evenings.
